Recently the economy has taken a tole on the lives of thousands if not millions of people. Many were not prepared for the changes that occurred and continue to occur. Are you one of those people?
Individuals have lost sight of the future and seem to remain in the past or even the present. Why is this so? It is because they have not recognized that much of our lives comes in seasons. They have not recognized that the season is over. But just because something is over does not mean that it was or is a failure. It is not a failure but the end of a temporary provision and an opportunity to reposition yourself for the future.
It is often the habit of being too proud or too stubborn that blocks this realization. Most people try to make a temporary provision permanent. When in fact the end of a season gets you into position to receive. This is similar to the pruning process which is a process that promotes growth. Old things are cut away so there is room for the new.
Just because things worked last year does not mean they will work forever. A small adjustment can make a major improvement. Change is inevitable and the most difficult thing we will face. We get stuck in the comfortable and familiar instead of moving forward at the change of the season. When the provisions begin to ceaseā¦move forward and look for new opportunities, a new season. Enjoy the season you are in but be open to the change.
Consistantly evaluate your friendships and relationships. If you continue to hold onto friendships that are not working and are wrong, the right friends will not come in.
Everyone is not supposed to be in our lives forever. Appreciate the people who helped but recognized when their part is over. Let go of the old before you will receive the new.
It does not have to be a new year to create a new tomorrow. Stay open and pay attention to what is working in the now and not the past. When that begins to falter and a new season is coming, just remember that a minor adjustment can make a major difference. Every provision is not supposed to last forever. Most are temporary and subject to Change.
